OUR SISTER CITY

Malsch, Germany Malsch and Falconville have much in common.

Both have a population of around 10,000, with an additional 4,000 in rural areas.

Both cities have basically the same form of government; both grow wine grapes, fruits, vegetables, and field crops; both have light industry; and both are near world-famous vacation areas.

Malsch is located in the foothills of the Black Forest near the Rhine River and only a short distance from France and Switzerland.

The highest point in its landscape is is the steeple of a church in the old part of town, where services are still held in the 600-year-old building.
